Vision of Beyond Today
Stonebridge exists to help people grow in their relationship with Christ.
Our desire is to equip people of all ages to reach out beyond themselves.
Many will go out from Stonebridge to plant churches, become missionaries,
and find themselves in places of great influence for the Kingdom of God.
Through the purchase of 4045 Eldorado Parkway, not only will we be able to
facilitate ministry for our church, but we will also move into a greater
position of reaching our community for Christ.
One of the ways we plan to impact our community is by partnering with Life
School of Dallas. The Texas Education Agency has approved for us to open
Life School of McKinney on August 18, 2008. This will be a tuition free
charter school offering quality education to the public. Initially, classes
will run K-3rd grade with additional grades to be added in the
future.
This is one step of many towards fulfilling the vision God has given us. He
has a plan and future for Stonebridge Church “Beyond Today.”
The Lord has also commissioned Stonebridge Church to focus our energy and resources to reach the lost people of this world. He has not only called us to reach the people of Collin County, but to be involved in a global effort to reach all people. For this reason, the leaders of Stonebridge Church have committed 10% of all “Beyond Today” giving to Stonebridge Church Missions efforts around the world. |
