At Home Participation:
Rice & Beans Drive
Rice and Beans are the only food items that should be delivered to Life Fellowship. No other food items will be accepted for governmental purposes.
- Can be any size (SAMS/COSTCO recommended)
- Due no later than March 10, 2008
Care Containers
Care containers are a great way to get give to the people of Swaziland. You may not be able to go on the trip this summer, but you can make up a container. Care Containers can be picked up at Life Fellowship during business hours (church office: 972-727-7292). Items to be placed in the containers can include:
Children's School Supplies
Paper / writing tablets
Pencils with plastic sharpener
Erasers
Crayons (small boxes - basic colors)
Washable Glue
Scissors (rounded points)
Stickers (animals, plants, vehicles, etc)
Hygiene Ideas Toothbrush/Toothpaste
Soap (bar)
Wash Cloth
Comb/pick (for African-type hair)
It is better to keep the supplies very basic. Most of these children do not have electricity or running water and they are not accustomed to making a lot of choices.
Items for the container that will be shipped week after easter.
